Testimonials
When I was first incarcerated, I never thought I would be able to say that it was there that I finally began to learn my true identity. I was a daughter of the King and he loved me and had been longing for me to know him. It was through the amazing men and women of God who were obligated by love who came in and met me and accepted me right where I was. If it were not for them sharing the good news of the gospel, I would not be where I am today. Saved, blessed, free, and living an abundant life! Freedom Gates didn't just impact my life but created a legacy within my family to be passed on for generations to come. Thank you for serving God and sowing into so many lives! I will always be grateful and never forget it!

I met Roseann, and her ministry, Freedom's Gate in 2015 while I was incarcerated at the Brideport Unit. The pure impact of the Word of God that Roseann brought was amazing. The way she didn't waiver from the Word of God, and did it with such compassion that showed that even though we had a past, that with Christ we are completely forgiven and we don't have to live with our heads hung down in shame, but to hold our heads up, and move forward as Men of God. Also, upon my release from prison, Roseann was able to set me up with a job as a Welder for the company she was a Manager for, so I could begin my life on the outside with a good job to help me get my feet on the right path on the outside. For that, I am truly grateful. Since then, I have had the chance to join Roseann, and Freedom's Gate Prison Ministry, and go back behind the walls to minister as I was ministered to. Thank you, Roseann for answering your call to the Lord.

Two years ago today I was released from prison. I'm truly grateful for the life that I have. I can now look back and even be grateful for the time I spent behind the gate because that saved my life. To God be all glory in this. Without my relationship with Him, this would have never happened. I'm truly blessed for the women that he has placed in my life and for bringing my husband across my path.

Hi yall, I want you to know I was right where you are now. I was sentenced to 5 years for fraud and drug convictions and for the last 18 months I spent at Bridgeport, which I thank Jesus for, I know what you are thinking.. this is lame, I would like a regular unit better. Well, the Lord has a better plan and he placed you in this unit for a reason! He has blessed you! Roseann has led me to Christ, but before meeting her, my heart was hard, coming out of a world of meth, gab, cooking and selling meth, hitting licks and so forth. But I became a new creation while I lived in the faith dorm. Jesus took a broken person, like me, and placed in me a talent, I did not even know I had and now, I sell my art! I made the decision I would never return to prison because I was shown the love of Christ by Pam and Roseann. I am here to tell you there is nothing better. I have been out over a year now and God has restored me to my family, happiness, self respect, and everything that the devil stole! Do not let the enemy distract or destroy you with drama, focus on YOUR CREATOR! LOVE YOU ALL MY SISTERS IN CHRIST! KEEP SMILING AND FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT, GOD BLESS!

The first time I saw The founder of Freedom‘s Gate Prison Ministry, Roseann, I was a prisoner at the Bridgeport private prison facility. This tiny lady, that I could hardly even see from where I was sitting, started belting out an old song I remembered my mother singing…”SHACKLED BY A HEAVY BURDEN“. She had a microphone that hung from her hand, toward the ground by her side… she didn’t need it. There was no doubt that God had shown her His grace!
Little did I know she would become a spiritual mother to me. Over the next few months before I got out I heard her preach and encourage us many times. Roseann spoke to us as if we were her children, without judgment but full of hope for transformation. Later when I was released she ended up being my manager at a second chance manufacturing company. Purely Providence. God used her to encourage me through some very difficult times after my release. She even had me go back in to prison, as a visitor 🙂 , to minister to others with her! We have since both moved on from that company but God continues to use her as a mother to me, that I am most grateful for.

I never would have known that being incarcerated would change my life, I was sentenced to 2 years TDC. My mentality was to go and do my time come out and continue selling and using drugs as usual. Little did I know that God had a bigger plan for my life. Freedom's Gate prison ministry with sister Roseanne made a huge impact in my life, seeing these wonderful ladies come in each week from their personal time to spend with us inmates gave me hope! Sister Roseanne would come in and minster to all of us in the faith-based dorm with so much love and compassion that she had for us. As I was released from prison I stayed in touch with sister Roseanne. It was awesome because they continue to support me and guide me through the ministry. It didn't just stop at the prison, it continues on. Christmas time she took time of her personal life along with the other sisters to give us gift bags that I look so forward to receiving; now I want to be the one to do the same for other inmates. I want to be the one that God uses to inspire someone else's life.
